Creature Creation
This project was undertaken to challenge my ability to take a concept drawing of my own creation all the way through to a rendered CG image. The creature was modeled in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush, textured in Substance Painter, and finally rendered using Arnold.
Swimming Paddle Scarab
Meet the colossal alien insect—a true marvel with a rock-hard exoskeleton and limbs crafted for the hunt. Armed with both wings for flight and rear paddles for swimming, it effortlessly dominates sea, land, and water. Its secret weapon? A captivating light at the end of its lure, a clever ruse to ensnare its unsuspecting prey in the depths below.
